The park is accessible via the car park situate directly within the park (enter off Pulgin Street – at the intersection of Kent Street), and also via the tremendous bike riding and walking trail. Bike parking and a drinking fountain are situate under the mature trees that provide welcome shelter. Further winding paths reveal curved seating, with more seating placed further along under the trees.
‘Dayman Park’ facilities include: Public Toilets, Sheltered Picnic Tables, Sheltered Barbeques, rubbish bins, drinking fountains, Playgrounds, Open Air Picnic Tables, a WW2 Monument, Seating Pavilion, Monument to Captain Cook, and Lookouts.
