Boating around Urangan is very popular with locals and tourist, as it offers great fishing, beautiful scenery and the chance of seeing a Humpback Whale as they migrate there during the months of July to November to raise their young, so if you do come across some please turn off the engine to the boat and just enjoy the stunning spectacle, so there is no chance of hurting them.
