Surfing in the cove that takes in both Shelley Beach and Toowoon Bay in New South Wales attests be being a very popular past-time. Situate close to town facilities and amenities, this surf beach can be accessed via a service road off Oaks Road – located some 200 m East of the Grandview Street Intersection. The views, beach and water are stunning, though swimming is recommended a few hundred metres up the beach at the Toowoon Bay Surf Life Saving Club.
Facilities available at this locale include: a large car park, public toilets, outdoor showers, sheltered picnic tables & barbecues, with direct access to the beach.
