Strolling along the ‘Peninsula Coastal Walk’ trail, just north of the Heyfield Road trail junction, as the view of the beach materialises – one could be forgiven for mistaking the sight ahead as a giant lizard emerging from the surf !!
The likeness is truly amazing, from many angles – hence the aptly named ‘Lizard Head’.
