Located within the heart of the historic Quarantine Station (c 1852), within the Point Nepean National Park, at Portsea in Victoria, this Information Centre is conveniently located adjacent to the car parks and shuttle service . . .
Though the small township of Portsea itself (which lies approximately 900 m east of the perimeter of the national park) is beautiful in its intimate seaside village feel, this region is literally packed full of amazing features and wonders to see – naturally, historically and current. After all, over two thirds of Portsea is national park – from ‘The Rip‘ at the very tip of the peninsula – to boundaries sporting the ocean beaches of Bass Strait, and the bay beaches of Port Phillip Bay. It is well worth a visit to this Information Centre to make sure you find all that you are interested in experiencing in this beautiful part of the world.
