The ‘J Henderson Reserve’ is a beautiful area that stretches from Portarlington’s historic pier, westward, along the stunning foreshore of Port Phillip Bay. The reserve is characterised by the mature Cypress trees that line the laneway and provide welcome shade and shelter from the hot Summer sun. The large open lawn area is perfect for that game of footy or cricket with family and friends – during the warmer weather, the beaches are ideal to swim, stroll or laze on the sand.
The picnic facilities are wonderfully placed to replenish the energy stores after enjoying some fun in the sun – whilst all the while, enjoying the expansive views before you . . .
