The viewing platform reveals the stunning and expansive Golden Beach. Sand, surf and sea as far as the eye can see – in both directions.
Observe the activity from the viewing platform, people in the distance walking for miles, surf fishing, metal detecting, relaxing in the sun. Be mesmerised by the waves rolling in . . . absorb the unharnessed energy of the surf as it pounds the shores, moving tons and tons of sand . . .
The Ninety Mile Beach spans 94 miles (151 km), running north-eastward from a split at Port Albert to the man-made entrance located at Lakes Entrance. The wild, untamed waters of the ocean, however, must be treated with caution and respect. The Golden Beach Surf Life Saving Club provides patrolled swimming and surf activities during the Summer months. Swimming and water activities are recommended only at the patrolled beaches.
