The ‘Rotary International Shelter’ located on the summit of Mornington Peninsula’s, Arthurs Seat is positioned on the northern side of the granite escarpment, offering glimpses of Port Phillip Bay through the trees. The same trees provide privacy for the area and shelter for the Playground also found at this location. The shelter itself is very large, housing multiple picnic tables and a barbecue – and all under one roof catering perfectly for large groups and families. Add to all that the fact that it is only a short walk from Arthurs Seat Summit Lookout, Arthurs Seat (the actual seat) and is on the Arthurs Seat Circuit Walk, it really is a top destination.
