The Information Pavilion located within the Seawinds Gardens Car Park precinct provides sightseers with a map outlining the facilities, walks, points of interest and things to do within the garden, the Arthurs Seat State Park and the surrounding area, as well as some interesting facts about the location.
One of the features within ‘Seawinds Gardens’ are the ceramic sculptures which are nestled into a rock retaining wall, on one of the approaches to the entrance of the Northern Lookout. Commissioned by the last private owners of these gardens, Sir Thomas and Lady Travers, William Ricketts is the sculptor behind these amazing figurines that have prevailed for at least four decades. Ricketts Pond is just a few metres down a pathway and well worth a visit too.
Lookouts, amazing views, beautiful gardens, indigenous gardens, expansive lawns, walking trails – are just some of the many elements highlighted in this information shelter . . .
