Set amidst landscaped garden areas, the ‘Twelve Mile Hill’ Rest Area is located on the northern flank of the Pacific Highway, some 24.4 km north of the Hunter River crossing, Hexham.  A short walking track provides the perfect opportunity to stretch the legs and learn about the area from the information boards along the way.  The large area easily accommodates large rigs, providing ample parking whilst affording an easy: drive-in – park – drive-out scenario.

The Rest Area is well equipped with sheltered picnic tables, information, public toilets, and rubbish bins.
