This Boat Ramp is perfect to launch the kayak or ‘tinny’ in readiness for an exploration of the stunning Brunswick River at Brunswick Heads, New South Wales. This ramp is suitable for craft and trailer weights of less than 1,600 kg in total only. There is a small fish cleaning facility with running water available at the ramp.
The river waters are crystal clear, and with the backdrop of white sand, one can delight in watching schools of fish in their natural habitat.
From this vantage point the river meanders upstream bestowing a variety of vegetation and sceneries, whereas rowing downstream, the river broadens as it heads towards the ocean – via the harbour, Mangrove forests, Simpsons Creek, Torakina Park . . .
