The petite seaside village of Rosebud West lies on the shores of Port Phillip Bay on the Mornington Peninsula. The foreshore is quite densely vegetated with large, mature trees under which the seasonal and year ’round camping facilities lie – and also, through which the Bay Trail meanders. The sandy beaches stretch way out into the bay providing a relatively safe haven for children to splash in the shallows.
